How to print your 4 × 6 sheet at the right size
- Download the original print sheet, rather than printing a screenshot or this webpage.
- In your print settings, set the entire sheet image to 4 × 6 inches (101.6 × 152.4 mm) on matching photo paper. Match the orientation of the downloaded sheet.
- Keep the whole sheet visible. Turn off cropping, automatic enlargement, and borderless expansion. If the printer requires margins, use larger paper while keeping the image at 4 × 6 inches.
- Measure one photo with a ruler before cutting: use your selected template dimensions. If it is the wrong size, adjust the print settings and print again.
The sheet does not include print-resolution metadata, so a printer's default or “actual size” setting may be wrong. Check your photo and the issuing authority's requirements before using it. A downloadable draft is not a guarantee of acceptance.

A little clarity before you start.
Is VisaSnap free to use?
Yes. VisaSnap is currently in a free public beta: photo uploads, automated checks, and available digital photo and print-sheet downloads are free. No account or payment is required. Downloads appear with eligible results.
How long will the public beta remain free?
Once the planned features are complete, VisaSnap will continue operating free of charge for at least three months before paid pricing is considered. That period has not started yet. Reaching the end of that period does not automatically introduce charges.
Which documents can I create a photo for?
The checker currently supports US, China, and Japan visa photo templates. Select the exact template that matches your application.
Does a passing check guarantee acceptance?
No. This is an automated pre-check, and it can miss issues. Review the result against the issuing authority’s current requirements before submitting. The authority makes the final decision.
Can I print my photo?
When a print sheet is available, download the 4 × 6 file from your result. Set the entire sheet image to 4 × 6 inches (101.6 × 152.4 mm), matching its orientation. Turn off cropping and automatic enlargement, then measure one photo before cutting. The file has no print-resolution metadata, so default or "actual size" printer settings may give the wrong dimensions. See the printing instructions beside your download.
